I am a new empty-nester in a great little town called Zionsville, Indiana. By day, I am a 911/police/fire/ems dispatcher for another little town called Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis 500 race. I'm also a part-time nanny for 3 local families, as well as a baby and pet sitter for many more. Being around so many children has help soften the absence of my daughter, away at college. My days are long and rewarding.
My free time is spent camping Michigan's western shore. I long for roadtrips to Grand Haven, Arcadia, Elberta, Frankfort, Northport, and Charlevoix.
Ultimately, I plan on moving to Elberta, Michigan once my daughter is finished with college.
I'm chronically single & haven't decided if I want a cure.
Planning my 30th class reunion in 2010 was very rewarding and I look forward to planning the next one.
I have very little free time, but when I do, I am passionate about photography, knitting & reading, as well as blogging about those passions.
For 2011, I am hoping to finally give my flower beds, backyard, and picket fence the attention they need and deserve.
